Dialogos is an ensemble video dance project. The purpose of Dialogos is to show how dancers can connect and empathize across continents. Through the language of dancers we can share emotions, heal each other and provide strength.

Each video is filmed as a stand alone project. Through careful planning each will connect to the other videos for a final composite film connecting all the dancers and locations with a shared message of unity.

Video 1

Please record a video of your dance improvisation. Keep in mind the limitations of your outfit. You are not bound to this improvisation, this is only to give me an idea of your movement, your tendencies and how you interpret the theme. From here I can start to map general ideas for entrance and close ups for an efficient shoot.

Things to consider:

Each section will be filmed first in wide angle from start 1) to end 6). After completing approved improvisation that meets your standards, additional wide will be filmed- from another angle and for photos.

After finishing wide angle run through we will film close ups. This may require another run through or can be in sections. Photos in close up as well.

Completing closeups then we will film section beginning and ending.

Improvisation can be longer than timeframe. Jumps or kicks might require to build momentum and several tries. During close ups we can reshoot jumps until they have met your standards.
